Beautiful attic find of a new, never used and complete BergHOFF cutlery case. This is a 72 part case from the Royalty series. The added photos show an overview of the exact contents of the case! The cutlery is made from a chrome - nickel - stainless steel 18/10 alloy. What does 18/10 or 18/0 mean? Many knives, spoons or forks have the mark 18/10 or 18/0. This is not for nothing. This mark indicates of which material the cutlery was made. 18/10 is also known as chrome nickel steel. This means that the material is made of 18% chrome and 10% nickel This is the best composition for cutlery, as chrome provides durability and nickel provides clarity. Due to the high quality of 18/10 steel, the products are corrosion resistant and retain their shine, even if you put them in the dishwasher.
