HMS PRINCE , sometimes also called ROYAL PRINCE, was a first-rate 100-gun royal Navy ship launched in 1670.
During the third Anglo Dutch war, it served as the flagship of the last king JAMES II, then the Duke of YORK.
During the Battle of Solebay ,1672, it was at the centre of the English fleet.
HMS PRINCE was heavily damaged by the flagship ZEVEN PROVINCIEN.
HMS PRINCE was rebuilt in 1692.
Very beautiful large size collection model.
