The Pirkka Series by Finnish architect and designer Ilmari Tapiovaara is one of the most popular in Finland and has gained cult status worldwide. Designed in 1955 and currently edited by Artek, the Pirkka series is inspired by the shapes of Finnish rustic furniture. Seat made of lacquered solid pine and legs in solid black dyed birch wood.
