I propose two armchairs model 042, work of the designer Geoffrey Harcourt, produced by Artifort. The 042 model is one of the avant-garde and futuristic works of the 1960s. It is notably visible in a scene from Stanley Kubrick's film "2001 Space Odyssey". Both chairs are in their original condition. They have been hardly used, which explains their remarkable vintage condition. A few signs of wear and tear are visible in the detail pictures, but this does not alter the overall appearance of these two rare and very original pieces. The seat, structure and upholstery are in an age-appropriate condition. The cognac brown leatherette cover has a beautiful patina. Given the weight and size of this lot, it is better to collect it on site. However, a shipment by carrier can be arranged at the buyer's expense and after contacting the seller.
