Phone Grammont PTT 24
A branded Grammont (Paris) phone model 1924 (PTT 24) - with plate 'marché du 25 mars'. Mention "Propriété de l'Etat" engraved on the base of the stand.
Good general condition; a small damage to the additional earphone (see photo).
Equipped with a very rare additive collar facilitating the reading of the figures and the composition of the literal code, appeared in 1928 for Paris and its suburbs (Odeon,...); small damage to the enamel of the flange. Small scratches on the metal column.
Base made of cast metal - nickel-plated brackets on the handset and the earpiece, the top of the column and the back of the earpiece - handset and additional earpiece made of bakelite. Felt protection underneath.
The flexible cords of the handset and the headset are in good condition. Device cleaned briefly.
Height 21 cm - width 22 cm - depth 19 cm. Weight: 3 kg
