The necklace is made of genuine white Japanese salt water pearls, the Akoya cultured pearls have a very beautiful lustre, they are individually knotted and strung in pearl silk The necklace is closed and opened with a cylindrical pin clasp in yellow gold (hallmarked)
Length of the necklace is 47 cm, diameter of the Akoya pearls is 6.6 to 7 mm, weight: 27.0 grams.
Very good condition, well-preserved, dating from around 1925/30.
