Beautiful model made in Italy by the prestigious luxury chess manufacturer Italfama. It's composed of a table made of distressed juniper wood with classical-column-shaped metal legs, this table emulates the Renaissance models according to the classical style of the Roman Empire. Dimensions: 53 x 53 x 75 cm. You can separate the chessboard very easily in order to move it wherever you like. This table has a movable wooden board, very useful for putting captured pieces or a clock. These are Lanzichenecchi (Landsknecht) model pieces, they were famous and feared Renaissance German lancers, with very elegant uniforms, who fight in several wars of that time. The body is made of gold-plated and silver-plated zinc metal and the base of moulded fine wood. The size of the pieces is perfect for the board squares, their dimensions are 10.6 cm and 6,9 cm (king and pawn respectively). The approximate weight is 15 kilos.
