This old Omnia sewing machine was distributed by Manufrance ("Manufacture Française d'Armes et Cycles"), company located in Saint-Étienne, which was the first to offer sales by mail order in France as from 1885. It is black with a rich decoration of gold, and includes the first Omnia logo which was changed after the second world war. This type of sewing machine appears as from 1912 in the Manufacture Française d'Armes et Cycles catalogue - sewing machines and typewriters under the name "Machine à coudre Omnia à navette rotative - fabriquées avec la plus haute précision".
