Mandau - Parang ilang from Dayak people, Borneo.
Mandau is the traditional weapon of the Dayak people of Borneo. It is also known as Parang ilang.
In older times it was used as a head-hunter knife. The Mandau is nowadays mostly ceremonial.
This type of Mandau on auction was given to important people of the Tribe and used in ceremonies
