Wooden comb and two bamboo containers of the Solomon Islands. Provenance: Marist Catholic Mission. Wooden comb: 16 teeth, 1 tooth is broken. Teeth are partly covered with a black crusty patina. Decorated with little white lime triangles. Two sticks at the top are broken. Length: 22 cm, width: 12 cm. Bamboo lime containers: -One container is decorated with engraving and has four open work slits. Inside the container is another container. The inner container has a movable interlock system. Length: 22 cm, diameter: 3 cm. Collection number: 79. Good condition -The other container with lid has nice engravings. The bottom of the container and the top of the lid are missing. Length: 15,5 cm, diameter 3 cm.
