Superb large South Pacific Oceanic New Caledonia Kanak bird head club Circa late 19th / early 20th Century This one is very unusual as it doesn't have the traditional stepped handle - there is another example of the British Museum website database collection that also has a handle like this one so this is quite rare In good condition with age related wear & tear - some chips & small splits to the beak - old losses to the back of the head - otherwise in good condition - lovely colour & a great object!
