Faustino V Reserva 1994 (6 Bottles) Bodegas Faustino Martinez S.A. - (Oyon, Rioja Alavesa) D.O.: Rioja Rioja Vintage Rating 1994: EXCELLENT "Faustino V Reserva is a wine from the D.O. La Rioja produced by Bodegas Faustino, owned by Grupo Faustino. In this blend the Tempranillo variety predominates (90%), to which some Mazuelo (10%) is added. After having harvested, the grains ferment alcoholically for about 10 days at a temperature never higher than 29º. Faustino V Reserva subsequently begins a maceration process with its own skins for about 20 days. Faustino V Reserva is finally aged for about 16 months in American white oak barrels from Missouri. Before going on the market, it rests for another 24 months in the bottle."
