Beautiful ancient Chinese turquoise bead talisman made in the 1st millennium BC during the reign times of Han and Western Zhou dynasty. It depicts a rabbit with precisely carved details of an animal and irregular, funnel shaped holes for suspension. It has undergone a professional cleaning process to highlight beautiful natural blue-green colour of the gemstone at the same time, without removing all the originally preserved earth sediments and signs of patina on its surface. *** MUSEUM EXHIBIT - Artifact was exhibited in Southeast Asian Gold Museum (in Budapest, Hungary) for 6 months in 2013 with other ancient bead talismans from the collection of former high-ranking Hungarian diplomat Dr. István Zelnik. Dimensions: 20 mm (W) x 12 mm (D) x 14 mm (H) Excellent condition - intact, well-preserved ARTIFACT WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY: * Modern jewellery cord ended by clasp so that artifact can be worn. * Certificate of Authenticity (COA) document with all information about the artifact and its photos. Previous ownership history: - H.E.B.L. private collection (former ambassador in China) - Dr. István Zelnik private collection former highly ranked Hungarian diplomat, researcher, author of more than 30 essays, albums and books about Southeast Asian art, politics and economy.
