Set of 3 ancient woodcuts, probably taken from ancient religious printed books (Bible?) of the XVI/XVII century, depicting episodes from Moses' life.
Two episodes are identified: "Slavery of the Hebrews in Egypt" and "Moses in front of Pharaoh of Egypt".
Two prints are signed by an unidentified monogram, G.R., the other one is probably by another author and from other book.
On the back of all the engravings there are written texts.
Identical prints have been dated between 1575-1599.
Good overall vintage conditions, minor spots and yellowing.
The set comes framed in cardboard passe-partout.
Dimensions: woodcuts: 8,5 x 6 cm. - with passe-partout 15 x 18 cm.
