There is also a Japanese idiom "pig rushes forward" (ちょとつもうしん), which describes being motivated, fearless and moving forward. For example, in the "Kojiki", the white wild boar encountered by Japanese warrior Osamu Japan on Mount Ibuki during his Eastern Expedition. It is the true form of the mountain god.
