This specimen consists in an open spray of clear orange celestine of quite uncommon colour and crystal habit for the locality, especially since it shows dramatic darker orange zonations at the tip of each crystal! Notice also the various crystal growth generations well visible from the sides, with smaller prisms at the base of the largest celestines. This forest of zoned celestine lays on a crust of semi-massive, granular yellow native sulphur. A fine Polish celestine, even better in hand!
