The bottle is stored in great condition.
Tenuta San Guido was founded in 1940 by Marquis Incisa della Rocchetta. From 1948, the first Bordeaux-style wines were produced for his own use. From 1968, his son Nicolo a nephew Piero Antinori convinced him to market wine commercially.
In 1994, Sassicaia received its own DOC. (Bolgheri Sassicaia DOC).
