Rare chicken shaped red vase
This vase is a simple yet tasteful one.
Vase "Yasumi Nakajima II" by a famous Japanese metal artist (Nakajima Yasumi) with the name of the base (保美 Yasumi). Very elegant design and high quality work.
Komi Nakajima II (1905-1986), whose real name was Mitsuo Nakajima, was a famous bronze artist in Osaka. He came from a prominent family of metalworkers. His father, Yasuichi Nakajima (1877-1951), received an award at the Sharp Works Memorial Exhibition. He was an active participant in the Nitten-Nitten National Exhibition and was active abroad, such as the Paris Exposition in 1925 and the Belgian Exposition in 1931. Yasushi Nakajima has a more minimalist and modernist style.
