A fine Roman bronze antoninianus of Emperor Tetricus I. On the obverse presents the radiate and cuirassed head of the emperor looking right. The bust is encircled by the inscription IMP TETRICVS P F AVG, identifying the emperor as 'Augustus'. The reverse presents the standing image of Hilaritas (serenity), with her head facing left, holding a long branch and cornucopiae. She is identified by an inscription reading HILARITAS AVGG, referring to the association between the emperor and a time of peace and prosperity.
