今尾景年 Imao Keinen (1845-1924) Painter of the Shijo School in the Meiji-Taisho period. He first studied ukiyoe, but later studied under Suzuki Hyakunen. He was highly regarded in the Kyoto art world in the early Meiji period along with Suzuki Shonen and Kubota Beisen. His exquisite and realistic flower-and-bird paintings were highly acclaimed overseas.
