2019 Markus Molitor - Riesling Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Auslese*** Golden Capsule (fruity sweet) - Mosel Auslese - 2 bottles (0.75L) This extremely hard to find wine is rated 100/100 by Parkers WineAdvocate (drinking period 2026 – 2080). “The gold-colored 2019 Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Auslese *** (Golden Capsule) opens with an intense, yet extremely fine and elegant bouquet of perfectly ripe, tropical fruits, mixed with very fine weathered slate aromas. This fascinating combination of fullness and finesse is also reflected on the palate, which is immediately lush and round, then intense and concentrated, but always lifted and refined by this beautifully crystalline and grippy slate structure. This selection is sure to develop into a fascinating character over the years. Another fabulous 2019 selection from Markus Molitor's beloved vineyard. Tasted in May 2021.
