The Mioplosus fish comes from one of the world’s famous Laggerstatten, the Green River Formation in Wyoming, USA. It has many pointy teeth and is believed to have been a voracious predator and a solitary hunter. It distinguishing features include double dorsal fins and a fan-like tail.
