A superb example of Tsonga / Zulu Tribal War Club from South Africa and dating to the first half of the 19thC, Circa 1820. - 1850. The piece is depicted in a unique Zoomorphic type for with the Head depicting a naive Baboon type visage likely crafted by an individual in the circle of the iconic “ Baboon Master” and worthy of further research.
