A large collection of tubular glass beads of different designs and colours. Originally produced in the Czech region of Bohemia in the 1960-70`s. These particular kind of beads were exported to West-Africa, especially to a country like Ghana. Very popular with the Ashanti-people in this country. Some wear and tear is visible on some beads, due to their old age. On avarage the dimensions of these beads vary between 9 and 14 mm in lenght.
Collected in the city of Kumasi in the 1990`s.
