Rich and memorable this limited edition selected reserve is deep amber in colour, with a well-rounded character. It is complex, subtle, elegant and sophisticated. The bottle is in perfect condition. Nose Open, dry, noble wood, furniture varnish, flower-raisin notes, light sulfuric nuances, sherry derivatives - prunes, earth, wonderfully fruity on candied oranges, figs and banana; in the background there is something mineral and vegetable. Taste Thick, dry, wood-lacquer, black pepper, unsweetened prunes, shortbread, caramel, from the background a sharp malty note erupts accompanied by a tart of freshly sawed wood. Finish Light, tart-woody with notes of varnish, prunes; pear, a little ginger.
