Moser Söhne, Karlovy Vary - 花瓶 - 原廠棺材中華麗的蝕刻水晶

A rare and magnificent vase by Moser in Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad), made for their brandstore in Prague. The etching of two wild boars in a forest is of extremely high quality and can only be the work of a talented artist who paid much attention to detail. The etching of the boars as well as the forest and foliage are superb. Moser products are made of lead-free crystal, giving the product purity and hardness as well as a gorgeous brilliance. The vase is of octagonal shape, standing on a sturdy eight panelled faceted base. The body of the vase is in MINT condition, with scratching on the base due to movement. The marks on the base "Made in Czechoslovakia" "Moser" and "Karlovy Vary" are visible (see photo). Information from The Moser Museum in Prague tells us that design number 577 (used for this vase) was created in 1935 and the logo was used from 1911-1938. The vase can therefore be dated between 1935 and 1938. A truly exceptional piece of art of high quality workmanship, fit for a museum of an equally high quality collection! Careful packaging will ensure a safe delivery. See my feedback on Catawiki.
