This fossil was discovered in Liaoning Province, China, and lived approximately from the late Jurassic to the early Cretaceous. It is an extinct genus of turtle and a rare fossil.
The fossil is natural and has not been restored. It is very three-dimensional, with bones and details very clear and beautiful.
Turtle fossils are very rare. A complete turtle shell is attached to the stone slab. This is a museum-quality fossil worth collecting.
