Ancient stunning headrest from Dinka tribe, South Sudan.
Dimensions: height: 22 cm; width: 40.5 cm; depth: 17.5 cm.
Estimated age: 1930-1940.
Provenance: collected on early fifties by comboni fathers in Al Buhayrat, Sudan, nowadays South Sudan. Purchased from Mbuya Comboni Missionaries, Kampala (Uganda), on 2009.
Overall condition: the headrest shows deep use but it is entire and well preserved.
