Watch a video of this specimen by following the Vimeo link below: https://vimeo.com/940669875 Here is a superb miniature specimen from Picher Field, Tri-State district, displaying two highly lustrous silver colour galena crystals (1.2 and 1.0 cm edge) amidst a sparkling bed of dark brown sphalerite with yellow-green and reddish hints. Notice the dramatic polycristalline growth patterns on the surfaces of the galena cubes and octahedron truncation faces on all corners. A truly beautiful American classic!
