Wonderful large sized art deco porcelain sculpture of a kneeling nude lady - Lily (1922) - with white slightly crackled glaze from Zsigmond Kisfaludi Strobl (1884-1975).
Nude lady kneeling on leaves of water lilies fixing her hair with both of her hands, with a beautiful smile.
This sculpture can be found in a public space in the city of Zalaegerszeg too.
Rare piece, in very nice condition, professionally restaurated around the waist (repainted, probably because fire crack).
Signed piece. Zsigmond Kisfaludi Strobl was one of the most famous hungarian classicist sculptors of the WWI and WWII era.
