A large 18th century Chinese Imari porcelain shaving bowl, measuring circa 31cm in diameter and weighing 1380g, with garden landscape decoration featuring flowering peonies adjacent to a pierced blue rock and bamboo within an inner diaper patterned border, the wide rim decorated with scrolls, leaves and flowers inside an outer meander border. Condition: Short crack 15mm to a corner, see picture, otherwise very good. Minor wear commensurate with age. This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
