It features a fully hollow maple ply body for a resonant, airy tone while keeping the weight low. The Black Wood fingerboard is comfortable to play and offers a classy look with its block inlays. Electronics The J90 features a single P-90 pickup in the neck position. The P90 is a type of single-coil pickup that offers thicker and warmer tones than you might find on an S or T-type guitar. Combined with the hollow construction, the J90 lends itself perfectly to Jazz, Blues, and Folk, but can also get gritty for Rock and Alternative styles.
