Up for auction is a pretty old Bohemian violin labeled "Antonius Stradiuarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno 17 A+S". It must have been made somewhere during the mid 19th century. A brand new set of Pirastro Eudoxa strings have been provided for this instrument, as this instrument originally had some very old gut strings on it. It has a very nice oil varnish with a lovely reddish color. The sound is very nice and warm.
