A prestige Knife in wood and metal - KUBA - D.R of Congo.
This knife named Ikul, can also be considered as a short sword.
According to the book “De Fer et de Fierté”, page 228, it is indicated that this kind of blade would be of a Pyaang origin, a people of renowned forgers.
These knives are part of the equipment of every free man. The blade is either made of forged iron, red copper or aluminium.
The sword is in good condition and has a wonderful patina.
Stand is not included but can be bought seperately. The sword can stand straigt up without a standard.
