Filling level: neck, excellent label, excellent capsule, bottle in perfect condition, stored perfectly in my air-conditioned cellar. The "Teca" from the Long Pond distillery is a Jamaican rum with a very high ester content and, for this reason, it falls into the Continental Flavored classification. A label that contains a vigorous distillate with great personality, with an impressive alcoholic strength that conveys suggestive notes of hydrocarbons. The entire manufacturing process is monitored with extreme care, from the processing of the sugar cane molasses, up to maturation, which lasts 12 years, where the rum enjoys the beneficial effects of the tropical climate. At the time of bottling, it is not diluted with water, so as to remain at full strength, with an alcohol level that is out of the ordinary. A true joy for the palate of enthusiasts, which must be savored carefully in order to grasp the many nuances that it is able to offer. Elegant in the glass, it has an intense amber color, pervaded by orange nuances. Complex and layered nose, where notes of hydrocarbons and solvents dominate the olfactory scene, at times softened by hints of tropical fruit in syrup. Powerful, austere, imposing sip, with great impact and infinite persistence.
