Beautiful Pre-Columbian ceramic beads from Ecuadorian Manteño culture made circa 800-1500 CE. Collection consists of eight precisely selected ornaments with very rare zoomorphic designs. Precisely hand carved animals and birds had an important religious and symbolic meaning in the culture. To emphasize the uniqueness and details of each pattern in concave areas white kaolin has been applied.
