Foursquare Sassafras is the eighth official bottling selected by Master Distiller Richard Seale and Velier owner Luca Gargano.
The name is inspired by the aromatic complexity of the essential oil extracted from the sassafras plant.
Single Blended Rum distilled partly in the Coffey Still column and partly in the Double Retort Copper Pot Still.
For ageing, ex-Bourbon barrels are used for 3 years, followed by 11 years in ex-Cognac barrels, all strictly in a tropical climate.
