Idole de fertilité syro hittite Une merveilleuse statuette idole en terre cuite façonnée à la main destinée à représenter Astarté, une déesse connue dans tout le Proche-Orient ancien pour ses associations avec la féminité, l’accouchement et la guerre. La silhouette aviaire se tient debout présentant un corps en forme de tronc avec les deux bras triangulaires tendus. Son visage ancien est pincé, dominé par un grand nez en forme de bec et une paire d’yeux percés. Elle est parée d'un imposant collier à quatre rangées et ses longs cheveux descendent jusqu'à ses épaules. Une très belle réalisation en parfait état de conservation Proche-Orient ancien, nord de la Syrie, culture syro-hittite, vers le 3ème millénaire avant notre ère.
