Splendid antique Victorian 18ct yellow gold half-hinged bangle bracelet in Etruscan Revival style. Centred with a large lustrous half pearl within a star motif of finely-detailed engraved design beneath rich jewel-tone guilloché enamelling in beautiful royal blue colour, to form a striking centrepiece. The body is decorated with exquisite fine filigree cannetille rope-work and beaded ball decoration to each side. Wonderful example of the gold granulation technique that was popular in Belle Epoque jewellery. Spectacular piece of statement jewellery that displays the finest craftsmanship of Victorian goldsmiths. Dating to c. 1880's. 17.32 g 18k / 18kt / 750 gold 6.5 x 6 cm on the outside 6 x 5 cm on the inside 0.9 to 2 cm wide Very good antique condition.
