Nice, well-functioning Becker car radio with FM, AM, SW and LW. Becker made an indestructible and well-functioning car radio that was the default for Mercedes in particular (W123, W126 and R107). However, they were also used in BMWs and other high class cars. Becker radios are renowned for their high quality. This radio has traffic information (Kurier). The radio has good reception, a powerful amplifier, a lovely sound, tone control and 3 FM preset buttons. The general lighting doesn’t work, but the yellow Kurier lamp does. There’s a black filler plate missing at the top left of the faceplate. The unit has a DIN connector on the back which can be used to connect an MP3 player, iPhone or iPod using a special cable, if desired. The radio comes with installation materials and a cable for 2 speakers.
