What is Catawiki?

Catalogue
The heart of Catawiki is an online catalogue with images of collectables and information about them. The catalogue is filled by users in the same way as Wikipedia.

Collection database
You can use the central catalogue as the basis for creating your own collection database online. If your collection item is already on Catawiki, you can simply add it to My Collections with a single mouse click (with the "Bulk adding" option, you can even add multiple items at once). If your item is not already on Catawiki, add it to the catalogue first. Doing this also lets you help complete the Catawiki catalogue.

Buying and selling
You can use the central catalogue for buying and selling items. Catalogue items that are for sale can be placed in My Shop with a single mouse click. You do not have to add all the data again yourself or make a new photo. This is one way in which Catawiki clearly stands out among traditional marketplaces such as eBay. In particular, there is also the option of having direct access to your shop via your own URL (www.catawiki.com/myshop).

Wish list
You can also quickly create a wish list of items that are missing from your collection. You can easily print this list and take it along to a collectors’ show. You will be automatically notified whenever an item on your wish list is offered for sale.

See the tour on the Catawiki site.
