Originally designed and manufactured in Germany as a medical lamp for light therapy, this striking sunlamp comes with all its original features, without the original 200 watt heat distributing bulb (with bayonet) and a red glass infra-red filter.
Painted aluminium body with a Bakelite base. This timeless design would be great as a desktop lamp or as a gorgeous atmospheric light in your house.
A perfect example of the retro movement of the 1950's.
100% in good condition, after 70 years I will even say that this vintage lamp is still as good as new.
