An positionable light made by Hadrill and Horstmann. This example is known as the Simplus model and dates from the late 1950's - maybe early 60's and is presented in the industrial style having being stripped of paint and then polished.The wire is new as is the chrome bulb holder which has the on/off switch in it - all the rest is original to this make of light. In reasonable vintage condition and works fine.There are several small speck marks and small dings to the shade and the rest of the light but nothing serious.Made mostly from aluminium and steel - the base is aluminium. Measures when fully extended upright 85 cms approx.
