The iconic FULVIA HF 1600 was born in 1969 in ‘Fanalona’ version, so called for its larger and recessed central headlights. Only a year later this version was replaced by the ‘Fanalino’, a visual update especially as regards the front grille, which was thinner and revamped than the previous one. The range included the Coupe 1600 HF and the Coupe 1600 HF Luxury. The first one had bodywork without bumpers, sports seats and simplified equipment; the second one had more refined equipment such as seats with headrest, deflectors and complete soundproofing. The ‘sporty’ version featured the Cromodora light alloy rims and the bodywork with enlarged mudguards, together with a sportier mechanics with modified camber and more direct steering.
