He specialised in sports, dance and nude photography. Until 1933, he published sports and nude photos in countless books and magazines. In 1926, Riebicke was still photographer for the first German body culture film "Wege zu Kraft und Schönheit” by Wilhelm Prager. In the year 2000, a book was published based on his first monographic exhibition of his nude photographs by the Bodo Niemann Gallery, Berlin. In 2002, a comprehensive retrospective was exhibited at the Museum of Photography in Moscow. The complete archive was destroyed in Berlin in WWII. The majority of his photos are therefore unique.

Riebicke was a significant German photographer in the 20th century. He specialised in sports, dance and nude photography.

Until 1933, he published sports and nude photos in countless books and magazines.

In 1926, Riebicke was still photographer for the first German body culture film "Wege zu Kraft und Schönheit” by Wilhelm Prager.

In the year 2000, a book was published based on his first monographic exhibition of his nude photographs by the Bodo Niemann Gallery, Berlin. In 2002, a comprehensive retrospective was exhibited at the Museum of Photography in Moscow.

The complete archive was destroyed in Berlin in WWII. The majority of his photos are therefore unique.
