Penny prima serie - Mangiadischi portatile musical sound - Pladespiller

Original Penny record player from the 1970s. For sale as is; it was found in an old trunk. Cosmetic condition as per photo. Not having available batteries, I did not test it. Orange colour Not in working order. This is a sought-after modern antique item. The record player is to be considered the true ancestor of the Walkman. The Penny record player was one of the best-selling record players between 1975 and 1988, with a compact design and holes above the speaker.
Its colours were very bright such as orange, sky blue, red, green, yellow. The Penny record player ran on both batteries (D) and electricity. The record player’s motor automatically switched off at the end of the song and some models even had an auto-eject feature. The record player was an inseparable playmate, especially for the youngest children, who could use it to choose the stories they wanted to listen to. The record player saw its end in the early 1990s, with the arrival of CD players, although it had long since been replaced by portable cassette players.
