2 Table lamp - Josef Hůrka - NAPAKO - 1960s. The lamp is chrome. The chrome is in original, very good condition. The screen with the base is metal and has a red lacquer finish. The paintwork is in original, very good condition. The lamp is equipped with a swivel joint that allows the screen to be adjusted to the left and right, but the screen can also be positioned vertically. The socket is porcelain and is for a classic light bulb. The table lamp with red lacquer was made in the second half of the 20th century, more precisely in the 60s of the 20th century, according to the design of Josef Hůrka. Made by NAPAKO. The total height is approx. 33 cm. NAPAKO was founded in 1919 as a purpose-built association of small private companies that were primarily engaged in construction metalwork. This is evidenced by the very name NAPAKO - tool makers - herders - metal presses. Thanks to qualified and skilled work, in the period of the first half of the 20th century, the quality and scope of production is at a very high level. After the war, following 1948, the cooperative was partially nationalized. The company NAPAKO still exists today, they mainly deal with the production of security doors.
