They focus on staged photography, accentuated eroticism, reject external reality and make internal reality visible, are ironic towards the world and towards themselves and are influenced by surrealism, Dadaism and poeticism. Martin Strba (*1961) is an important, truly multi-genre personality of contemporary European film. And although the public is perhaps more familiar with his work as a cameraman in film and his creative film collaboration with the Polish director Agniezska Holland, his photographic work is also exceptional.
