In fantastic condition with a brilliant rich glaze by Alvaro José from Caldas da Rainha, Portugal.
Alvaro José was inspired by the French Renaissance artist Bernard Palissy, who was known for his realistic ceramic depictions of animals in high relief. Portuguese charger / Fantastic charger. The glaze is rich and vibrant and incredibly detailed. Simply a magnificent plate made of artistic ceramics.
