Tainted #19 Edition 1/75 Dutch singer songwriter Ilse DeLange’s latest album ‘Tainted’ features artwork by Rens Dekker. The works were showcased at The National Maritime Museum, Amsterdam during the release party. The collage artworks can be seen as a personal visual interpretation of the songs and the overarching theme of the album, which distinguishes them more as free work rather than commissioned work. All works from this series are available in a limited edition of 75 numbered and hand signed museum quality giclée prints. Through crafting album artwork and visual branding for renowned national and international artists, I've honed the skill of translating auditory emotions into captivating visuals. A seminal project of mine was creating a series of artworks for Ilse DeLange's album, Tainted, which were later exhibited as fine art, marking a milestone in my career that beautifully merges the music and visual art worlds. Currently, my career has taken a more introspective turn, focusing on creating non-commissioned work that is closer to my heart and personal vision. This shift aligns with my aspirations to stage more exhibitions and expositions, showcasing my personal projects to a broader audience.
